Sherman Box

Sherman box is a measure of time. So in general, the length of a correction should be longer than the impulse that preceded it.
You draw a box over the period of time of the impulse, then move that box to the beginning of the consolidation. Wait for time to pass and when price leaves box, and if still in consolidation you have a higher probability move rather than trying to catch every little impulsive movement on lower TF.

It's simply a way to measure time transpired. Use a line, a box, whatever.
