IMHO in corrective markets as forex it cant give You any advanage.
Ok Gann line is understandable mathematition trand line, so what ?

EURUSD 30 min TF (only 30 min TF !!!)
At extremum draw Gann line with scale
-ATR/10 top extremums
ATR/10 low extremums

Gann's techniques, my personal opinion, are extremely valid when combined with other techniques (eg Elliot waves). However, I have never found a book that clearly explains them.
Of all that Gann said I believe that only the concepts of angles and percentages are valid. The rest: square of the nine, astrology etc. is only rubbish.
Unfortunately the software used, (tradingview, MT4 etc) despite of having as a tool the Gann angles, draw lines that randomly touch certain price levels making us believe that we have discovered who knows what. Moreover, if we re-scale the chart, the angles change position, which is completely useless.
There are many gurus on the net who say they are able to teach us how to calculate the time factor for the angles, for fees, of course. Rubbish.
I read Gann's texts and, referring to his ideas, I customized a system that allows me both to exploit the % and therefore the mathematical relationships between the various levels, and how to draw correctly:
1. Angles that do not move
2. Angles that work.

Vlad is fascinated by Gann.
But right now Vlad is studying harmonic elliott wave and once Vlad has mastered harmonic elliot waves Vlad will find time to jump into Gann.
If anyone can share strategies to trade Gann then Vlad would appreciate.

Dear Vlad,
I think your request is because you see an angle passing in that area.
Actually that angle already worked many times. Now it became a trend line. Usually I have seen that in short time this kind of angle hold the to incentivate people to enter the market after that go in the opposite direction.
Later I will post the level and the angles where I think I wait for a long.
I will use that angle only in case I suppose the correction can be considered complete.

Really interesting drake. I tinkered with trendline angles as well, but like you said, they change when you scale the chart in TV which makes them useless.
How do you draw them in meta trader?

u need to freeze your scale when doing gann in tradingview

It is quite to complicate to explain in few word how to do but you cas use the trend lines as angles.
1. Start from one high/low (day and price)
2. Calculate the value of the angle using the time factor at (for example today) and draw a TL from the start to the end. After that you can extend the TL at right side. In this way the TL never move.
I also suggest you to use Tradingview. They have the gann fans. You can do like this:
1. Start from one high/low.
2. Draw the 1x1 touching: the first reaction low if you start from one low (the opposite from highs). After that you block the lines and automatically you can have the other angles.
Be careful because what do you have are not the real gann fann but a fan of trendlines...sometimes works sometimes...not....But at least they do not change position..
)

1. Its important experiment and find out correct/ scale (price/time ratio) before plotting trend lines
2. Reading "Pattern Price and Time Second Edition by James Hyerczyk" a good beginning
3. See Page 168, to learn - scales (in aforesaid book)
4. In TradingView, use settings-> scale -> /price/bar ratio/ to adjust chart scales that squares time and price.

Not necessary to freeze the scale. You can fix the starting point and the end point values and extend the trend lines (angles) to the right side. They will not change the position any more.
